Slide # 1: Greetings Greetings! My name is Mahmoud Elsayess and I am your instructor. I am professor of Information Technology at University of Phoenix and National University. I teach Electronic Publishing (XML, XSL, XSLT, XPATH, and XQUERY), Multimedia, and both WEB and Database design

Slide # 2: Expertise I have Technical and Managerial expertise In these disciplines : XML, IE/IEF(CASE), IMS/DB/DC, IDMS/R, ORACLE, DB2, MS ACCESS, COBOL, Visual Basic, MQSeries (Client \ Server) HTML, Java, C++, ASP Design of large-scale Applications, and Management of Database Administration Departments For the Internet, I am currently using PHP, MYSQL and Apache, which are an excellent set of FREE tools for Internet applications.

Slide # 3: Employment Current and past Employment Associations include: University of Phoenix , National University, Auto Club of Southern California (project specialist), BI-Lo, INC. (consultant), IBM and Deloitte & Touche (consultant), Computer Sciences Corporation (consultant), C.Itoh (project specialist), American Express (consultant), Hughes Aircraft (manager of database administration), ITT Barton (Database Administrator), County of Los Angeles (Programmer). Mahmoud is extensively using Adobe Suite (Flash Pro, Dreamwever, and Camtasia,) for building Multimedia and Animations, playing sound files and Movies with Flash objects.

Slide # 4: Multimedia I made all of my drawings for my websites using Adobe Photoshop. For sound recording and editing, I am using Cubase with a sampling rate of 44,000 Hz. My recording equipment includes Firewire PCI card for 1394 port, Audio interface (sound card), and microphone with a large diaphragm. I am using Sony HDR-HC9 as a Camcorder for producing videos.

Slide # 5: Communicaiton tools I have assembled a portfolio of Internet tools that I use to teach my students worldwide from my home in Orange County, California, USA. While I share my activities on my PC with students worldwide, they in turn talk to me using Skype for free.
